Antelope Flats Loop

May 24, 2025 High plain trails through Island Park, up to a wonderful lookout on Bishop's Mountain and through Antelope Flats. There are many ways to return and the suggested route take you back around the other side of Bishop's Mountain. The more adventurous may want to head southwest off the mountain into the desert north of St. Anthony Sand Dunes then up into Island Park via Sadorus Hill Road, and back through the forest. Great mountain and desert views with numerous possibilities for viewing wildlife including elk, moose, deer, pronghorn and a great variety of birds. The event begins at 10:00 a.m. at Red Rock RV Park north of Island Park. Cost is $35 for the first off-road vehicle in your group and $25 for each additional. Full service RV sites and camping options are available at Red Rock RV Park. Side by side rentals available through SxS Adventures. |
